1. Accessing Your Vendor Dashboard
To manage your store, you must first log in to your dedicated portal:
Login URL: Visit My Account and enter your vendor credentials.
Dashboard Access: Once logged in, click on the “Vendor Dashboard” tab in the account menu. This is your central hub for sales reports, product management, and settings.
2. Adding and Editing Products (Step-by-Step)
Managing your inventory is the core of your business. Follow these detailed steps to ensure your products look professional and sell fast.
A. Adding a New Product
Step 1: Basic Info – Go to Products > Add New. Enter your Product Title. Be specific.
Step 2: Description & Short Description – Use the Main Description for details and the Short Description for highlights.
Step 3: Product Data (Pricing & Inventory) – Set your Regular Price and Sale Price. Use the Inventory tab to manage your SKU and stock status.
Step 4: Images & Gallery – Upload a Featured Image and additional shots to the Product Gallery.
Step 5: Selecting the Correct Category – Always select the most specific sub-category on the right-hand side.
B. Managing Product Variations (Sizes, Colors, etc.)
If your product comes in different options, change the product type to Variable Product, add Attributes, and generate Variations with unique prices and images.
3. Inventory Management Tips
Efficient inventory management prevents overselling and keeps your customers happy. Use these tips to stay on top of your stock:
Enable Stock Management: Always check the “Manage Stock” box in the Inventory tab. This allows the system to automatically hide products or show them as “Out of Stock” when they sell out.
Set Low Stock Thresholds: Enter a value in the “Low stock threshold” field to receive an email notification when your inventory is running low. This gives you time to restock before you run out.
Use Unique SKUs: Assign a unique Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) to every product and variation. This makes it much easier to track items in your physical warehouse and matches your digital records.
Regular Audits: Once a month, compare your physical stock with the numbers in your Vendor Dashboard to ensure accuracy.
Bulk Updates: If you have many items, use the “Quick Edit” feature in your product list to update stock quantities rapidly without opening each product page.
4. Managing Orders and Statuses
Keeping your order statuses updated is crucial for customer satisfaction and timely payouts.
Processing: Default paid status. Begin packaging the item.
On Hold: Use if waiting for customer clarification or if there is a temporary delay.
Completed / Shipped: Once handed to the courier, update the status to Completed.
Tracking Numbers: Always add the tracking number to keep the customer informed.
5. Creating Store Coupons
Coupons are a powerful tool to drive sales. Navigate to the Coupons tab, select Add New Coupon, and set your code, discount type, and usage restrictions. You can choose to apply coupons to all products or specific items.
6. Store Location and Shipping
Setting Your City: Go to Settings > Store. In the Location section, enter your physical store address and City.
Shipping Info: Enter weight and dimensions in the product settings for accurate shipping calculations.
Estimated Delivery: State your delivery timeframe (e.g., “3-5 business days”) in the Short Description field.
